Kati Patang.....Kishoreda's time to enforce the fact that he was truly a versatile genius...
The way in which he has rendered all the numbers in this movie is like cult for any learner in playback singing.
Rajesh Khanna with his taqdeer obviously capitalising on this...
This song is the second most difficult number i have rated since to get every nuance of his style took a huge amount of effort and perseverance,not only with the singing but also the sound engineering..
But as usual the end result is what singers look forward to....

A classic again from Kishoreda and RD.....

Likha hai teri aankhon mein

Teen Devian....A film where Dev Anand is a guy whose only interested in women and is a compulsive flirt....
This song alongwith the other song in this film (Khwab ho tum ya) was very catchy and a typical 60's duet with Kishoreda using his temperamental genius effectively....

Tough song since Latabai just cruises thru it in full control... leaving you ...wanting....

Kali palak teri gori

chor chor....a brilliant film of the 70's with Dharmendra and Tanuja at their best....
This song was amongst the three other very good songs and had a very catchy tune to it...from the versatile RD.....
Kishoreda as usual got his histrionics into it and Lata was as flawless as ever...

Shetal has done a wonderful job in this song as you can see....
Check out 'Kali palak teri gori'....

O Mehbooba...Tere Dil ke paas hi

Sangam-A triangular love story by the famous Raj Kapoor...with Rajendra Kumar and Vyjantimala in the lead....Amazing songs by Mukesh....who normally sang for Raj Kapoor.....
This song had an excellent beat and set the rhythm for the location it was directed in.
One of my favourites from the repertoire of the great Mukesh....

Hope it suits my style of singing nasal here....unlike Kishoreda....

Ye Dosti...Hum nahin Todenge

Sholay-An epic film with all stalwarts in it.....took the 70's crowd by storm....i remember coming out of the theatre in a daze....everything in the movie was superlative.....
This song stuck in my mind for years and i dreamt of me and my good friend Manoj singing it together....
This blog has given me that platform now to bradcast my feelings...

So heres Ýe dosti ....dedicated to my dearest friend Mr Bisen.........

Yeh Jawaani ...hai Deewani.... a rappy number from this film of 2013... ....liked the tune very much as well as the choreography....

Ranbeer & Deepika look awesum!!!

Tum Hi Ho....Aashiqui2....A song which touched me....Mithoon's composition with the guitar chords giving an amazing feeling to the song....
Though Arijit has gone completely nasal in this number considering everyone nowadays likes nasal singing....i thought lemme try the full voice throat style in this song to feel something different....

So here's the number.....which  most Gen Y love it!
And truly said....Love never dies....

Jaane Jaa Dhoondta Raha

Jawaani Deewani.... the hep film of the 70's ...with Randhir and Jaya in the lead in different avatars....
This movie had amazing songs....and RD really freaked out with this number....the original rock music in hindi films.....
Kishoreda goin heavily nasal here to reach those high tones....and it took me some time to understand what the hell he was upto in front of the microphone....
And Ashaji....well...she and her sister were...and are...Amazing!they seem to defeat all levels of the Management of Singing...so to say....
With her singing with you...this song if you pick it up well will see you thru....

Priyatama....A film of the 70's with Jeetendra,Neetu Singh and Rakesh Roshan......with Kishoreda freaking out with this number....Complete romance with melody at its best........alongwith some super lyrics....

This song from Rajesh Roshan said it all......
This is a complete Monsoon Romantic number for couples in love with each other....

Meri Bhigi Bhigi Si

Anamika-A classic film with Sanjeev Kumar and Jaya Bhaduri giving superlative performances....
Kishoreda completely overshadowing his own style with this grim number.....and exercising complete restraint in this song...to get that dard....
The words....scathing....
Tough song but then....so many farmaishe from my loved ones...so...couldnt say NO...

Another signature Kishoreda number....Meri Bhigi bhigi Si....

Sochenge Tumhe pyaar kare ke nahin

Kumar Sanu once again...scoring high with this foot tapping number....by Nadeem Shravan...the film...DEEWANA...
The words fit beautifully when someone is in search of his lovemate....
This time amazingly Sanu has taken a different voice throw which i really appreciated and taught me a few things....

Ofcourse... just couldnt help putting that extra Kishoreda touch to this song....

Yaadon ki Baaraat...a super entertainer from the house of Nasir hussain....fantabulous songs by RD...
And Kishoreda going haywire with Ashaji  in this Album....

Padosan-Again!!!!this movie had superlative numbers...and this one was the most famous...with Kishoreda using his signature style in singing for himself and Sunil Dutt....

These kind of songs have to be in my blog since this is a complete Kishore Kumar number.....

Darling Darling....An incognito movie made by Dev Anand...which had this tremendous number....
Aise na mujhe tum dekho....seene se laga loonga.....
The choreography and photography is sad...but the histrionics of Dev and Zeenat looking cool...make up for it....
And the song...superbly sung by Kishoreda.....

One of my favourites and had to storm into my blog....

Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega

Sangam...a classic of the 60's with Raj Kapoor and Rajendra Kumar at the helm....and Vyjantimala as one of the top heroines at that time.....
This song had Mukesh,Mahendra Kapoor and ofcourse the nightingale at her best...as usual...
A difficult song if you have to sing in two different styles.,...as versatile as the two above....
But then...now i really enjoy indulging in these challenges....and the beat to the accordion was the highlight of this song....makes you rock automatically....a superb melody of yesteryears....

Kabhie Kabhie- A Yash Chopra Classic of the 70's....

This poetry was on everone's lips at that time ....
I love the last antra of this song....reminds me of  similar incidences in my life too...
All in all a classic....

A film called "Tere naal love ho gaya''....this song by atif...purely on my blog as Sweetu wanted me to record this number since its her favourite....
Ive never tried vocals of this sort so it was like a decent change from my regular style of singing...

Here too ive modified the style to bring in more melody unlike atif whos resorted to amplyfying his voice with a huge negative gain & reverb......
Hope the young gen of my frndzz like it....

Nadiya Se Dariya

Namak Haram...A classic of the 70's with the reigning superstar Rajesh Khanna and the upcoming angry young man Amitabh Bachchan together as friends and later foes....
Kishoreda took away all the songs in this film with ease....
This song stands ideal for all  Alcoholics then,now and in future....
I must say the Cabernet Sauvignon held me in good stead...

So with Holi round the corner what better song could i add to my repertoire....So enjoy...Nadiya se Dariya....Dariya se Saagar.....Saagar se gehra Jaam....

Chaand se parda kijiye

Aao Pyar Karen...a film of 1994...with Saif Ali Khan,Shilpa Shetty and Somy Ali....
This song had a tremendous beat to it and still has you foot tapping when you hear it ....
Sanu as usual going nasal here to get that effect
A song sung for that special person... in my life....

Chaand se parda kijiye....Kahin chura na le...chehre kaa noor...

Tera mujhse hai pehle

Aa gale lag jaa....This movie had all super hit songs sung by the maestro...with this one as the best!!
Kishoreda excelled in the long stretches and it was a wonderful learning experience whilst singing this song.
This songs meaning is excellent...there are times when you meet someone and the feeling comes that you have some relation with that person...

Bombay to Goa...A brilliant film with suspense and comedy ...what with the legend Mehmood enacting the role of a bus conductor....and his younger brother...as the driver...
Kishoreda as usual going nasal here to get that extra depth in the song....and AB doin the jumpin jack act!

A complete signature song of the maestro and i had to add it to my blog...

A great duet with Amit Kumar & Udit Narayan rockin on this song as the title music of the film-Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa...
Jatin Lalit really had some excellent compositions in this film....and though its surprising why Sanu was not chosen for this duet...Amit Kumar did a Kishoreda with aplomb....
If youre waiting for someone to come back to you.....this is the song to hum.....

As usual ive sung both the parts...though i must say that Udit's style was difficult to copy....
