Keh Dun Tumhe

Deewaar-A brilliant film with amazing dialogues...And AB...wow!
Shashi Kapoor had a unique role with Neetu Singh and this song was the starting of the battle between the two brothers.
Kishoreda has expressed his lyrics so well that this song can be a great learning experience for many singers...
Unfortunately no ones really tried out his nuances-(ref...youtube)
All in all a superb duet...
Nothing much to say except hear it and enjoy the video...
Im happy with the way this song has shaped up...your feedbacks are important...

Kiska Rasta Dekhey

Joshila-A film with Dev Anand,Hema Malini & Raakhee....
This song was a masterpiece rendered by Kishoreda and ive always been very attracted towards the lyrics of this song....
And when at times youre too in the same state of mind...then these words flow out automatically....
A brilliant voice control of emotions is what i learnt in this song...and ive tried to portrait it accordingly...and the composition...Super!!
still......phir kyun Aankh bhar aayee???Memories...They remain forever....
My last tragic number for 2011....Feel it....

Phoolon ke rang se

Reposting this song on this special day!
A movie made with complete Romance in mind..The song picturisations from Punjab to Austria and Dev Anand with Waheeda and Zaheeda!Bismillah!!

Phoolon ke rang se... takes a special place especially for those whove loved and lost....

since every word in this song conveys the strength of love one has had for his mate..
Lena hoga janam humein...kaiee kaiee baar.....well!Humne toh saat janmo ka pyaar isi janam mein kar liya....ab bas!
They say...if youve truly loved someone...let it go...cause if it is true love,it will come back...else...it never was!

For me..its a song that will be close to my heart forever.....also since ive really been lucky enough to get the right feel of what Kishore Kumar and Dev Anand had in mind at that time!!!

Hope you'll get that feel too..............................

Unke Khayaal Aaye toh

Lal Patthar-A film with Raj Kumar & Hema Malini....and Raakhee as the bride....This song showed the huge amount of weakness a Man can have for a Woman....And when you remember that person...u keep remembering....driving you crazy....
I am truly surprised that ive been able to render this composition, since Rafi Saab is like at such a scale that you can only like to hear...not even attempt to sing...in the fear of messing it up...
Also....am truly happy that ive got a medium to convey what the heart wants......and this song simply does the rest....
I hope you'll guys like it...
And i love the expression Hema gives at the end of the last antra.....it conveys everything....
Raj Kumar is like ....superb...with that expression showing everything.....
Hope you'll enjoy this song....its different...

Tauba tumhaare ye ishaare

Chalte Chalte-A film with SRK and Rani looking their best...and the chemistry...perfect.
The songs in this film were amazing and after a long time melody took a front seat...
I have not used Abhijeet's style in this rendition, since i felt it robbed the melody part away....but concentrated on the song sequence and the ''çhaal'' of the song....
Shetal was the one who proposed this song to be sung together and i think she has excelled her part...
Your feedbacks ofcourse are keenly awaited.....
P.S.-Rani looks HOT in this song....so check it out....

Sa re ga ma pa

Abhinetri- A film with Hema Malini & Shashi Kapoor in lead roles...
This was one of the favourite song in the film..
It was a pleasure to sing this song simply because i felt as if i was really learning to sing with the nightingale...
Kishoreda's last antra is the final icing on the cake.....
i hope I live up to all you guys expectations!!!
Again...one of my favorite numbers right from my school days....

Mujhe naulakha manga de

One of the most versatile combinations of classical music adapted to suit on a mujra style...
With Ashaji excelling as usual with that gifted voice...
And what Kishoreda has done to this song...probably only God could have done that!!!
This song taught me a lot of the importance of having a classical base to your repertoire of songs...and the use of it during certain nuances in the antra's...
Franly..i loved singing this song...
It came straight from the heart from the beginning to the end....
I had purposely kept this song pending for some time, though a lot of my well wishers were insisting on recording it,after hearing the 'Salaame ishk' number...
This was becoz i wanted to get that right feel, while recording this song...
Let me see from your feedbacks what it was like...
Here's ' Mujhe naulakha manga de re.......with AB and Jaya Prada....

Aa ri aa jaa

Thanks for the overwhelming response for this song-im really touched....nearly 800plus reviews(all over the world) in two days...Wow!!...I did some corrections and am reposting....your suggestions are welcome....
After a long time i got to sing a song which really touched my heart!!
just couldnt stop my tears while recording the song.
Mehmood is one of the most brilliant actors of our time,i must admit...
Kishoreda is ofcourse too good and i learnt a lot about his singing style in this song...
Aa ri Aajaa...from the film Kunwaara Baap... is a song i dedicate to my son Chintu as you will find out after seeing this video....
My first Tragic number for your patient listening....
This song is in two parts...one the father putting his son to sleep after losing his life partner...and the second where the son is awaiting the death of his father.....

Khwab ho tum ya

Teen Devian....and probably many more....They say if your Shukra is strong in your horoscope then women will always be present in your life....
This song by Kishoreda says it all.....
And ofcourse i have a striking resemblance to Dev Anand's character in this film...
But jokes apart...this song is one of my favourites and another Kishore Kumar signature song...No one else could have sung this..
I have put my guru's photo during the solo vocal version, before Dev saab takes over with his beauties....since this is a tribute to what he has taught me...or rather what ive learnt by listening to him......He is GOD.....
The words of this song must be listened to...since they convey a lot...and finally its destiny....which gives you what you want.....or not....
So...enjoy what lies in store for you....without complaining....
Heres...khwab ho tum ya koi haqueeqat...kaun ho tum...batlao......
Der se kitni door khadi ho....aur kareeb aa jaaoo....
Who's next.....God knows....

Jo Tumko ho Pasand

Heyy Guys...Just Reloaded this song again after some corrections....
Safar-A journey of a woman(Sharmila Tagore) who loves the Hero(Rajesh Khanna)... whose detected for Cancer...but gets married to Feroz Khan due to pressure from family members....
Reminds me of a similar story........
The words of this song depict correctly what a man can do for a woman if he really loves her.....provided of course that they remain together.......destiny normally has other plans....
I think Mukesh's voice is best suited for romance since he had that sincerity when singing those important lines...unlike Kishoreda who usually got 'masti' in between that sincerity, which reduced the effect...
I dont know but ive seen that my voice generally suits the Mukesh style of nasal singing...specially in those high notes....
So heres 'Jo Tumko ho pasand wohi baat karengey'..........Check it out!!!!

Madhosh dil ki dhadkan

Jab Pyaar kisise hota hai-A movie in 1998 with Salman and Twinkle....An era when Sanu was at his peak..
This is one of the few songs which he has sung with the nightingale...
This song had complete Romance and a huge reverb effect to give that 'Madhosh' effect.....
Though the choreography is not as good as the song,it manages to provide the meaning of the song to some extent...
I am really fortunate to be there in this era where i can put my rendition forward alongwith the Saraswati of Hindi Music...
she obviously just takes the song away.....
As usual...i dont need to tell once again how difficult it is to match with her feelings and style, when your swar control is not even half as good as hers....
Still i have managed to put forth all my confidence and learning to achieve this result....
Rest is upto you'll to decide....
Here's 'Madhosh Dil Ki Dhadkan....Chhup si ye Tanhaaaeeeee....

Aap ki Aankhon mein kuch

GHAR-1978,a simple film with two superstars at that time....Rekha looking at her best and completely in love with Vinod Mehra...
This song became a super hit with Kishoreda in his usual style singing with a classical base.
The song was packed with melody....and with the nightingale in the duet...you couldnt have asked for anything better...
I wanted to try out a different classical song this time and this was my first choice...
I hope you'll enjoy it too...........

Salaame ishk meri jaan

This mujra is the best dance that ive ever seen...and picturised beautifully too in 'Muqaddar ka Sikandar...
Kishoreda was probably the only one who could have sung this song...the power...the thrust....ultimate...backed with effect of showing that you are drunk.....
The nightingale is as usual...brilliant...again i dont think anyone else could have sustained that fever pitch so beautifully as Lataji could have...
Hence i have retained the original pitch and form....
My experience in singing this song has given me a different high in touching those chords without creating that THD....something which has taken years now of singing...and im happy with the way this number has shaped up...
looking forward to your expert comments though....

Mere Sapnon ki Raani

This song has one of the best tempo's that ive ever liked in Kishoreda;s arrey of songs.
That josh...that masti....i loved it!remember...it was Kishore Kumar's second innings as a playback singer with Aradhana...and what a way he scored....
And i replicated it....
I thoroughly enjoyed recording this song after years and held onto that thrust and power like no ones business....
You'll tell me the result....

i remember storm used to tell me...that all these kind of masti bhara romantic songs suits your style...so heres one again for you...give me a feedback though.....
the bongo beat in this number is awesome...And Khanna with his lipstick looks....well...ravishing...
Enjoy...Mere Sapnon ki raani kab aayegi tu.....

Tumne mujhe dekha

A tribute to the rockstar of the 70's....Shammi Kapoor....
The Film-Teesri Manzil...a film having the legendary RD Burman in his probably first film after being in the shadow of his illustrious father.....the movie...a suspense thriller...
This song is a complete Emotional romantic number and the nuances used by RD to get Rafisaab to do his bit reminds me of the same way kishoreda does in his songs....
I dedicate this song to my pyaara bro-in-law,since it was his farmaish.. that i record this number....
So here..s to you Sanju....
Tumne mujhe dekha....

Aaj ki Raat mere

Ram Aur Shyam....A film with Dilip Kumar playing the buffoon and the Hero....and with Waheeda looking gorgeous throughuout the film....
Rafisaab and Dilip Kumar had the knack of tuning themselves with each other so well and hence it was difficult to match that kind of tuning..unless of course you match Rafisaab's style...perfectly....
This song is a farewell to the person in life that you have loved and you wish all the best for that person....
So... i have decided to blog it....Simple...
My new Rafi number...and another Heartbreaking song for your reckoning....
Im sure my bro in law Sanjay will like it....
So heres the first one for you Sindhi.....Youre farmaish's will follow....InshaAllah...

Ik haseena thi

Karz-Meaning Debt....Its true that what you sow you will reap.....if you cheat in real love...it will pay back in due course...Thats the Vidhi ka Vidhaan...
This song comes very close to what i went thru in life...including my "'second innings"' after my revival from near death...
Those who are close to me will know and realise...
Kishore Kumar has put in this song his complete experience since expressions, pitch control and power are all put together in this song...
I will agree that this song genuinely took my life away, since to match with Ashaji's pitch and follow KK's style was very tough...
But then the pleasure of listening & seeing the Audio Video clip is also equally satisfying and you dont regret the pain it had caused you in front of the microphone....
Putting forward my most difficult challenge for your recognition....
Ik Haseena thi-.. Nitin... with my most favourite ... Ashaji...........
Hope to get those tears in your eyes too...

Apno ko kab hey shyam

A Bhakti Geet! On Janmashtami eve...
I love this song sung by Kishoreda simply because its so melodious...
And conveys everything to Lord Krishna about your feeling and emotions....
What a fever pitch RD has chosen...whew...
You gotta have that complete control over the Aalaaps in this song, else youre doomed....
As usual i got into the fervour of the festival and gave it my best shot...
You'll guys tell me hows it worked out...
Presenting the Bhakti Geet From "Mere Jeevan Saathi" with RD at its helm...
Apno ko kab hey shyam....Mukh Dikhlaaogeyy...
I present this song to the two Krishna's in my life...Shyam & Gopal Bali.....
Both seem to have that mischievious smile too....
As far aS THE lORD IS CONCERNED..
HAPPY BIRTHDAY........Come Home & stay with me....

Tumsa koi pyaara

This song had a particular Beat and Tempo to it which immediately tempts you to move your body to its rhythm....
Kumar Sanu was at his usual best at that time and considering the fact that my voice gels suitably with his style too...i was inclined to try this number...
Also, its the rainy season now and probably an appropriate time to put this number on my blog....
I must add that Govinda & Karisma have really rocked on this song beautifully as you can see...
This song again is not so easy as it sounds...and Alka Yagnik has done a stupendous job...
So Enjoy ''Tumsa koi pyaara'' with its Rains & Romance.....and shake a leg....

Dilbar Mere

A song which was sung extempo during one of my visits to Pune>>>during 2006 in a makeshift karaoke box placed in one of the Malls...
I was a little excited in trying out the software and track which was available there and little did i realise that the song i would choose would have such an effect on my life...
At that time ofcourse i was on cloud nine and never realised that this number would have to be posted on my blog one day as a projection of thought to someone...
Again AB is like....king...with all those expressions and with Kishoreda giving that extra burst of energy like he does always....
So heres "Dilbar Mere" for your reckoning and hope youl enjoy it!!

Ek Nazar

This entire number is actually a Poetry...or say...Shayari!Its a Shayar or Poets way of conveying the need to meet your loved one and give that one look to convey everything without saying a word.
The entire poetry is based on the two words used differently everytime-Ek Nazar...One Look!
Kishoreda has used the maximum variations in this song and made it very difficult for anyone to replicate it....
I loved the words in this song, since it matched exactly what i needed to convey to Storm!
The picturisation of this song was ...well not very good, but i have retained it for the sake of authenticity!
AB & Jaya are as usual...superb!
Hope youll guys like it too...
Something differently Romantic....
Pyaar ko Chhahiye kya Ek Nazar...Ek Nazar....

Tum bin jaaoon kahan

The words of this song say it all......
There is nothing more heart wrenching than probably remembering a person and not being able to see her.....
But then...such is Life...
This is one of the first songs i was attracted to of Kishoreda's multiple facets, which lured me into opening my vocal chords.....
Specially since this same song is sung later in the film by Mohd Rafi Sahab, picturised on Shashi Kapoor...
And what a difference in the Aalaaps......and the thrust...Kishoreda just took the song away....
Ive as usual picked up...or tried to pick up these small aspects and hope you'll like and enjoy it too....
This ones again for you Storm.....kuch na phir ..chhaha kabhi...tumko chahh ke...

Shokhiyon mein ghola jaaye

Prem Pujari-A film of the 70's,with SD Burman at his peak, and Kishoreda as versatile as ever..
I remember hearing Kishoreda live during our Ganapati Festival in our Income Tax Colony at Pedder Road with Lataji and frankly at that time i was concentrating more on the Congo player since i was only into percussion...
The words in the beginning were confusing but the rhythm...divine...
This is another song which takes your breath away thanks to its continuous modulations of swar and tempo.
Dev Anand and Waheeda make a great pair and no wonder this movie made it to the Filmfare awards..
Its useless to try this song on a normal karaoke...u will murder it...
As usual,im posting the second song from this film, the first being..Phoolon ke rang se...though i reckon all the songs in this movie are great!
Hope you''l guys find this rendition interesting and encourage me to do better..
Needless to say, this song too is impossible without the nightingale of India on your track...
So here''s...Shokhiyon mein ghola jaaye, phoolon ka shabab...Complete Romance... Dev Style...

Pehle Pehle pyaar ki

The Guitar chords in this song are very European. This tune is very familiar to the tunes you hear in Italy,Rome,Switzerland...
I liked the way this song has been created...very innovative...and ofcourse brilliantly sung by both Asha Bhonsle & Kishore Kumar.
I must share one aspect in this song.....there are four different types of modulations used by my Guru in singing the words ''Deewaanaa''....
The first is the bloody toughest and it took me nearly 4 days to get that modulation right....
Kishoreda has taken a nasal voice in this song backed up by a Bass boost...which is why he is able to get that punch in all the words...very easy to say...but believe me very difficult to get it right.
But then in the end....it all has to sound right...Right!
So here's ''Pehle Pehle Pyaar ki Mulaqatein yaad hai'' with Asha Auntie...
For me.. again its....memories.....

Kehna Hai

Padosan-A film made by the legendary Mehmood. Most of the songs were Brilliant and though i have also sung "mere saamnewali khidki mein',this song was a masterpiece by Kishoreda who taught me the flow of a song, which is typical of his style.
Ofcourse, this song i had sung with only Storm in mind and am therefore posting this number on the Blog today,to say...Kehna Hai...aaj tumse....ke tum hi toh laayi... ho jeevan mein mere...pyaar.. pyaar... pyaar...there cant be anyone else...
Its nice to hear the legendary Kishoreda playbacking in my style, though in this song ive blindly tried to copy his every nuance and histrionics.....
Hope you'll enjoy that feel too....
And once again thanks for the overwhelming feedback....Love you guys....

Deewana leke aaya Hai

Mere Jeevan Saathi-One of the best films of the 70's,with songs each better than the other....
Though O mere Dil ke chain was my favourite,i must say that this song touched my heart and i will cherish it all the more since i remember the day i recorded it.....
The feel of this song has a dual meaning-happy from outside...and heartbroken from inside...
On this day the 8th of July....2011...another masterpiece from RD Burman........

Friday, 1 July 2011

Aaye Tum Yaad Mujhe

The Rains...The month of July......still reminds me...of those days...when Storm moved out of my life...
This song is a revival of a memory that happened.
Kishoreda has really poured his heart out in this number to get that effect of melancholy, suitably backed ofcourse by the reverb & Delay effect...
In my case ive just given it my best shot...since i was not actually singing consciously during the recording...but just let myself immerse in someones thought....and tried to remember...
Aaye Tum Yaad Mujhe......
Dedicated to her...for those times which i will always cherish.....

Chudi nahin ye meraa

Gambler.....What a film! That era was complete nostalgia of Dev Anand.......and all those fast paced songs were with the Congos and Bongos as percussion.I remember both Kalyanji Anandji & RD Burman would use these effectively with Kishoreda's numbers. My cousin and myself learnt to play the bongos on this song. I clearly remember how tough this beat was and since it was also fast paced, you had to move your fingers at top speed on the leather.
Zaheeda was introduced in this film and if im not mistaken ,this song was the top favourite in Binaca Geet mala..............
The masti in this song can clearly be felt so it was imperative to do the histrionics before the mic to get that effect.
As usual,i felt that the queen of melody be retained since its like when you can do with the best in the world...why settle for anything less........
I hope this number brings fond memories to all of you'll hearing it.......
And the bangles sales go up................

Aanewala Pal

I personally think that this song when heard sounds like as if you too can immediately sing it the same way.....
But believe me..i rate this song of Kishore Kumar as the most toughest rendition,if of course you want to have the output in the same waveform as his.
And again believe me when i say this ,that even other stalwarts who have attempted this song have not been able to obtain that charm which has been set by Kishoreda.
Which then comes to the question as to why the hell,do i need to add to the massacaring of this song!
Well...the simple answer is that ,it took me around four years...lots of feelings.... and tremendous practise to reach the level that you are about to hear, only with this number!
And of course the fact that without singing this song properly, and not having it in your repertoire, your blog is incomplete...
So with all your Best wishes and blessings...please put on your earphones to listen to this latest addition to my versatile list.....
Aanewala Pal.....Jaanewaala hai.....

Raat kali ek khwab mein aayee................Aur gale kaa haar hueee.......
This song has innumerous memories...right from my childhood.
One of my friends Rajan Bahadur in the Incometax Colony in Peddar Road, would sing this song,at most functions and i would invariably be playing the bongos, alongwith his harmonium....
Kishore Kumar had this magic created which would somehow pull you to listen to the song completely.... and still ask for more..............
When i started singing, this song first came thru my mind, and thinking that i was a cat...i recorded it.....and realised what a disaster the reproduction was.
I also realised something was missing which Kishoreda had caught on....
Years went by and after recording around 100 odd songs i felt that this was the time to use my little experience to try this song again....
So...My dear friends & Followers.....again a masterpiece from Kishoreda....humbly replicated by me.....
and yes.............Navin Nischol in this song looks exactly like my dear friend Shyam Bali(in his young days)...so much so that even the mannerisums match each other............perfectly...

Aadmi jo kehta hai

Some lyrics have excellent meanings. And it becomes a punch line when, the mood is grim and subtle...............
This song i took an instant liking...cause it conveys the subtle truth, that nothing is permanent............
Kishoreda,as usual, has again used a different technique of voice throw here,to get that subtleness and seriousness on screen...with ofcourse AB doing a brilliant job of enacting.
Obviously if you know youre going to die.............youre going to be grim...
I have tried to get that same mood and hope you guys like what you hear.....
Again...one of my favourite numbers.....

Ashwini ye na

A War cry!Thats what i first felt when i heard ''Ashwini ye na''..
The beat and tempo were terrific, and when i realised that Kishoreda was the playback behind this,it freaked me out!
The words slowly started making sense and i realised that this was a.... Romantic song!!
Two mates desperately calling each other....in tune ofcourse....
And i thought....Wow...what a way to tell your mate ''to come''......
My marathi has always been...well...not that bad...
And i thought.... if Kishoreda could do this song in Marathi..,well, let me attempt too.......
I also saw an interview with Anuradha Paudwal where she mentioned that the maestro was rolling on the floor during the recording of this song...
And i wondered why the histrionics.....till i attempted it...
This song takes your ........(u know what i mean!)
The power and thrust is too heavy...
So again... guys and Gals....here's a Marathi number for your reckoning....................
Rock with me....and call your mate..............like i did.................

Monday, 4 April 2011

A romantic lilting melody from the experts in the field for a decade-Shankar Jaikishen...coupled with the first directorial venture of Randhir Kapoor. This film-Kal Aaj Aur Kal of 1971 was literally a beginning of the era of the young Gen freaking out boldly..
Kishoreda seems to have just let go of himself in this song, which i duly followed.....
The music is simply superb and mind you...tough to adapt since you tend to go off sur due to the low and high, including the yodelling...
I simply loved this song when i was a kid and wanted to sing it to my wife....
Instead, i will like to throw it to the universal energy, to decide....
Enjoy.........and keep listening....................................

O Saathi Re

Muqaddar ka Sikandar-A film which had stupendous dialogues alongwith superb songs, including Salaame Ishk meri Jaan....
O Saathi Re was the emotional song which is very special to me since i recorded it on the very day,i lost someone special....8th july,2007,...
I have retained the original dialogue of AB,in the beginning..since i too sing this song or hum it only when im depressed and vulnerable.....and the tempo and feel of the song is maintained....
The feelings and ''Dard'' in this song,is something which can only come forth when youve gone thru that pain..
Kishoreda has taken a different scale in this song, but my track was not at its very best and hence i had to makedo with it.
Presenting my next emotional number for all my friends and well wishers......
O Saathi Re...tere bina bhi kya jeena....

Likhey jo khat tujhe

Mohd Rafi....a voice with that golden touch...I used to always try to avoid singing his songs-simply because they were very tough to sing...that tightness with every word would leave you gasping before the mukhda was over.
Being a complete nut over Kishoreda's style and which also came a little bit naturally to me,i pretty much enjoyed being in his shadow.....
But certain melodies like the one being played, just couldn't keep me from agreeing to gasp for my breath...this time once...
And particularly this song....the words, the lilting music....complete Romance!!!
My dear friend Manoj would pick up the Rafi style easily and i would sometimes wonder how he could do it.
I thought...well let me try it once...
So here's a Romantic song from the film Kanyadaan, starring Asha Parekh & Shashi Kapoor ,with amazing lyrics...Likhey jo khat tujhey....woh teri yaad mein...........hear the rest...

Monday, 14 March 2011

A song which i remember hearing for the first time i was travelling in a video coach from Indore to Mumbai. The movie was 'Agar tum na hote',starring Rajesh Khanna. As soon as this song started,i was completely mesmerised with the way Kishoreda lifted this song to a different high.Though i had not dreamt of singing in those days,i still felt that immense urge to sing this melody to someone i really loved....and lost!Time went on and i forgot that emotion...till there was that moment when this similar situation came in front of me...and i immediately remembered that this was the song,i wanted to sing from my heart now that the time had come...
So here's the song which i'm immensely attached to and which had tears coming into my eyes while recording....
The beauty is that i let them flow.........

Gaata Rahe mera dil

Gaata Rahe Mera Dil........A song which became History! The Romance, the egos, the seperation.....the tragedy in this film GUIDE, alongwith brilliant compositions by SD Burman. You can feel the touch of RD's presence clearly in all these compositions. And in Gaata rahe..the brilliant piece of sax by Manohari Singh in the Antra's makes the song come alive!
Kishoreda has used a unique technique of voice throw here....i had to literally go thru around 5-6 types of voice modulations before i could hit upon the genius's idea of singing this song.
One can imagine at that time how these guys would be composing this kind of composition.
Lata maushi is like ...well...there are no words...she can throw, chuck,do anything and still give the same output.
I was not convinced with many female singers whom i heard which could do justice to this song and i finally decided that if this song had to be enjoyed then it would have to be with the Legend.
I have played the role of the Sound Engineer and Singer, and it was really tough to bring both the vocals on the same pitch, specially since i wanted it to run on the original film soundtrack scale alongwith my track. And Lata Maushi's pitch control....whew!...like a machine...flawless....
Guys & Gals....presenting herewith my first Duet for your patient listening.......
and earnest feedback.....
Gaata Rahe Mera Dil......keep singing...........

Mein Aaya hoon

Thanks for the responses being received and i really appreciate your interest in visiting my blog and encouraging me for doing more............
Here's an exciting number from the film Amir Garib in 1974,sung ofcourse by my mentor/guru the legendary Kishore Kumar, which i have humbly tried to replicate.
This song specially attracted my attention, since it has been sung with the trumpet in the lead and has its beautifully taken ups & downs by Kishoreda for the evergreen Dev Anand.
Syncing this song was a wee bit difficult since it seems while picturising the dance sequence the tempo varies a little.
Hope you'll will appreciate this effort......

Pal Pal dil ke Paas

Romance has only one key....which opens to the Heart.
You may love someone till eternity without even that person knowing about it, or caring....for that matter....
This song which i have posted is one of the most precious to me since it shows the profound love of a person for his beloved. And add to that those excellent lyrics and composition from Kalyanji /Anandji,....phir kya kehna.Kishoreda as usual makes things so tough for you to follow that if you dont do as he does, then you sound like a crow instead of a cuckoo..
Maybe one of the reasons very few dare to attempt this romantic number..
Those who are in love will believe me...and those who dont,well... enjoy the good looking Raakhee and the handsome Dharmendra....
